My name is Lisa-Marie and I would love to provide sweets on your perfect day.
When I decorated my own wedding venue I realised how much joy and satisfaction this gave me, so I decided to start up something of my own that I can build upon and use to help make other people’s special day that little bit sweeter, hence this sweet cart venture.

Can I supply my own sweets?
Yes, the first package is the cart only so you are able to use it for any purpose.
What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver to any area. The first 10 miles are covered; there will be an extra charge per mile
How long will we have the sweet cart for?
We will deliver and set up the sweet cart prior to your event at a time agreed between us. We will
also arrange collection the following day.
Is the cart only for weddings?
You can hire the cart for any event and use it for any purpose i.e. Birthday Parties, Christenings,
How much notice do I need to give if I want to hire the cart?
We recommend that you book in advance. By paying the deposit this will secure your date for you. However, please do contact us if you need to make a short notice booking as we may still be able to accommodate your request.
Do you offer any other services?
We are currently predominantly offering the sweet cart. However, we will be adding to our
collection as we expand and grow. If there is something in particular you would like please do speak to us.
Do's and dont's
Looby-Lou’s Event Hire retains the right to use any photographs taken by our staff to be used for promotional purposes. We will only take photos of our equipment; these may include guests using the equipment.
If you would prefer images of your event not to appear on our website please advise the member of staff attending the event on site, or email us directly to request that any photos are not to be used on our website or any other social media sites that we may have.
However, if we have any photos that you would like copies of, again please email us directly and we can of course email these to you.
For your peace of mind we advise that a suitable insurance be taken out by you as all hire equipment is the responsibility of the customer once delivered and until collection by us.
No insurance is provided by Looby-Lou’s Event Hire for loss/theft/damage.
Any leftover sweets are yours to keep. We advise you to ask your venue to bag these up at the end of the night to retain freshness.
Any sweets remaining on the cart when collection takes place will be disposed of. We will never re-use sweets from another event.
Please let us know if you would like us to cater for any special dietary requirements, such as dairy free, lactose free, vegetarian suitable, HFA approved, gluten free & sugar free confectionery.
Full and final payment will be required 4 weeks prior to the event date.
This is cart hire only. Please do not use drawing pins/glue/sticky tape on the cart, please use only Blue or White tack. The cart will be put together and dismantled by Looby-Lou’s Event Hire staff only.
Delivery and Pick Up
Delivery and pick up to venues within a 10 mile radius of TN24 are included in the cost of hire, outside of this incurs a charge of £1 per mile (return journey) for fuel and additional traveling time.
You agree to properly maintain the Equipment during the period of the hire and to notify us as soon as reasonably practicable if a problem arises.
The equipment will not be moved once it has been installed by our staff, and it should not be used for purposes for which it is not designed.
You will ensure the equipment is used responsibly and not mistreated in any way.
Do not allow children to climb on the equipment. Please ensure all children are supervised by a suitable adult at all times when using any of our equipment, as we cannot be held responsible for any breakages or incidents.
Any unsatisfactory working of the equipment must be reported to us immediately
A £25 booking fee is required to hold any date; this is non-refundable and required to book the cart for your event. The booking fee may only be transferred to another date upon agreement between Looby-Lou’s Event Hire and the customer.
A £50 damage deposit will also need to be paid with the full and final balance. This deposit will be held by Looby-Lou’s Event Hire until after the event and will be returned within 1 week.
All breakages and loss must be paid for by the hirer not the venue.
Cancellation charges will apply.
Within 4 weeks of the event - 50% of total cost.
Within 2 weeks of the event – 100% of the total cost.
In the event of cancellation, any breakage deposit paid will be fully refunded.
Nut Allergies & Safety Warnings
Please note that some of the sweets may contain or have traces of nuts or nut oils, or may have been made alongside other products containing nuts. Looby-Lou’s Event Hire cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from food allergies. Customers should also ensure that children are suitably supervised to avoid sweets being chosen which would pose a choking risk. This is even more important for children under 5yrs.
